Galatrax Pictures is a Midwest-based independent film company that aims to make diverse short and full-length pictures that bridge the gap between art and entertainment. We aspire to create films that feature emotionally stimulating images and stories that will appeal to both cineaste and regular moviegoer alike. The company was founded in 2004 by Brian Klemesrud, Stephanie Johnson, John Hammerle, and Julie Hammerle. We are located in Chicago, Illinois, and to date, have shot five short films with budgets ranging form $900 to $50,000. Our latest short film Static is now completed and is currently touring the festival circuit. We are excited about several feature length projects that we are currently developing.
